Continuous operation is based on a clean system

The construction of earlier boilers and systems enabled mechanical cleaning. As welding techniques developed boilers could endure higher pressures and their construction changed. Mechanical cleaning was no longer possible and the need to perform the cleaning chemically emerged. It is this developement in which Enerkem has been one of the pioneers.
